    Vegan Options at Thorpe Park

    Published: Sep 8, 2019 · Modified: Apr 19, 2024 by Romy · This post may contain affiliate links · Leave a Comment

    Are there any vegan options at Thorpe Park?

    Well, that's what I asked myself before I first visited about 3 years ago. Back then I was very much disappointed after my visit - the only vegan option seemed to be chips and even when I went back in 2017 and 2018 there didn't seem to be any additional options.

    Throughout the summer, however, a group of vegan friends and I had decided to visit the park on a day out together and upon checking the Thorpe Park website I found out that they now list a number of vegan options that are available in the park.

    So what to do? Check them all out of course!

    Thorpe Park Food Options

    Here are the places within the theme park offering vegan food as listed on the official Thorpe Park website:

    * Amity Kebab

    * Mexican Cantina (discontinued since 2019)

    * Pizza Pasta

    * Bush BBQ (discontinued since 2019)

    * Fin’s Bar and Grill (discontinued since 2019)

    *The Veggie Box (NEW 2022!)

    *KFC (NEW 2022!)

    During our visit, we spotted another vegan option in the park, however - which was rather exciting: vegan-friendly churros! We were able to check the allergen menu during our visit and determined that these are vegan-friendly when served without the chocolate dip. They're coated in cinnamon sugar and simply a delicious treat on their own!

    From what I could tell, the only vegan option here is chips! Definitely a letdown.

    The Veggie Box

    Newly listed on the Thorpe Park website is a place called 'The Veggie Box'. According to their official website, Thorpe Park says that The Veggie Box the go-to place for all vegan and vegetarian foods in the park.

    Falafel, salads, wraps, burgers, and fruit juice are part of their menu - but I could not locate a full menu on their website. Rest assured however that I will definitely check it out during my next visit.

    KFC

    One of the newer additions to Thorpe Park is KFC! As Thorpe Park doesn't list full menus for their restaurants and food stalls on their website, it is unclear however if this branch of KFC stocks the full UK menu, including the vegan KFC burger. One more thing to check during my upcoming visit.

    Watch the video above to get a closer look!

    Despite being listed as containing vegan options on their Thorpe Park website, their Pizza Pasta place was rather disappointing. It's an all-you-can-eat buffet and in order to be let into the premises you have to pay the full fee - only to find that salad is the only vegan option here. Not even a simple pasta Marinara (garlic & tomato sauce), all the pasta dishes on the buffet were covered in dairy cheese. Disappointing to say the least!

    I've emailed Thorpe Park after our visit in 2019 but they never responded to me until 2022 - and I doubt any response will come from their end by now. Fingers crossed their Pizza Pasta buffet will show more diverse options in the future - or that they at least remove it from the vegan options on their website.
