To create the creaminess in this smoothie, I've added in a ripe banana - it gives the smoothie a natural sweetness without the addition of refined sugar and adds to the overall smooth texture of the pear & cinnamon smoothie. You can of course also use frozen bananas, it's particularly refreshing when enjoying this vegan smoothie recipe in the heat of summer.

Same as a typical smoothie recipe, the steps in creating this pear & cinnamon smoothie are super straight forward: Simply add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and combine until smooth. Simple as that!
You will also realise that I am using 50/50 water and plant based milk (I love both soy and almond in combination with this smoothie). The combo of both gives the smoothie a smooth and creamy finish, whilst not being too heavy. Feel free to adjust to your liking however - if you're proper hungry and use this smoothie as a full meal, you can add 150ml plant based milk - and the version with only water will make the smoothie lighter.

Description
This simple, yet delicious pear & cinnamon smoothie is the perfect breakfast on the go for those hungry mornings out the door!
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, medium size (or frozen)
- 1 small pear, peeled & cubed (or ½ of a large one)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 75ml water
- 75ml plant milk
- 1.5 Tbsp Pulsin Soya Protein
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high-speed for about 20-30 seconds or until smooth.
- Transfer to a glass & enjoy!
