I tried making self made mayo for the first time today (after realising that I have run out of Mayo and being too lazy to go to the shop ha)
Seems like laziness fuels my creativity in this case!
– 1/2 cup soy milk
– 1tspn lemon juice
– 1/2 cup olive oil
– seasoning (salt, garlic powder etc.)
1. Simply mix ½ cup soy milk with 1tspn fresh lemon juice in a blender.
2. Slowly add ½ cup olive oil.
3. Finally blend in some seasoning such as salt and garlic powder, but you can add whatever herbs and spices you prefer.
This way you could also make mayo with different flavours – maybe add chilli powder for a more tangy mayonnaise, there are no limits!
